Dr. Jamila M. Brown, PsyD

My practice specialty is providing therapeutic services to adolescents and young adults who are experiencing depression, anxiety or behavioral concerns. I am also available to provide individual therapy for adults in all stages of life, family therapy, and couples counseling.

Having been trained as a Parent Child Interaction Therapy (PCIT) coach I am also available to provide these services to parents. In addition, I have a long-standing interest in working with clients from diverse backgrounds and those affected by the foster care system.

Professional Background

I completed my postdoctoral clinical fellowship at Children’s Hospital and Regional Medical Center. My work with Children’s was predominantly centered at the Odessa Brown Children’s Clinic. While there, I provided individual, family and group therapy, and served as a member of a multidisciplinary team.
